Doctors warn of severe norovirus outbreak over winter

Health experts are warning Scotland could be in for an unusually severe winter outbreak of a diarrhoea and vomiting bug.

Cases of norovirus are already higher than normal for the time of year. The peak season for the virus is still to come.
