Montrose air station marks its centenary

The first military air base in Britain was established five years before the Royal Air Force was created.
Montrose Air Station, where some of the country's first ever combat pilots were trained, is commemorating its centenary.
Veteran Dave Oswald recalled joining the base as a 17-year-old: "It is a very happy place for me to think back on".
