Doctor Who magazine on Peter Capaldi: 'Brilliant already'

After months of speculation Peter Capaldi was unveiled as the next actor to board the Tardis.

The award-winning Scottish actor, director and writer will take over from Matt Smith to become the 12th incarnation of the Doctor.

He will follow a long line of actors who have taken on the mantle of the Time Lord, confronting villains across time and space.

Tom Spilsbury, editor of the Doctor Who magazine, told BBC Good Morning Scotland's Gary Robertson: "We just know he is brilliant already".
