Greyfriars Bobby is given a nose job

Greyfriars Bobby has been getting a nose job following a campaign to restore the statue.

Tourists have been rubbing his nose for luck, much to the annoyance of some locals.

Residents had highlighted the wear and tear of the statue through a Facebook campaign called "Stop People Rubbing Greyfriars Bobby's Nose. It is not a Tradition."

Restoration specialists have been working on the Edinburgh landmark.
