BAE shipyards to lose 800 jobs in Scotland

Workers at BAE Systems have been told the company will shed about 800 jobs in Scotland over the next three years.

The Clydeside shipyards at Govan and Scotstoun will remain open but it is not yet known where the posts will be lost.

Workers have been sent home for the day.

As BBC Scotland's David Henderson reports, the uncertainty continues for hundreds of families.
