Glasgow pub crash helicopter 'did not make mayday call'

The helicopter that crashed into a pub in Glasgow, killing at least nine people, did not make a mayday call, investigators have said.

David Miller, Deputy Chief Inspector of Air Accidents, told reporters that nothing detached from the craft in flight before the crash happened.

''There is nothing to connect the incident with any previous accidents in the North Sea,'' he added.

Mr Miller said investigators will analyse the helicopter's systems and radar data as well as radio information.
