Singing robin takes up residence in flower shop

A robin has taken up residence in a flower shop in Grantown on Spey.

Maria Norman, who runs The Flower Box, said it started following her in each morning and would stay until she let it out in the afternoon.

However, the robin now stays in the shop all day and night rather than fly out the open door.

Shop owner Geoff Martin said of the robin: "It has become a bit of a celebrity. It sings all the time."
