Patients 'not ill enough' NHS care funding

BBC Scotland has uncovered evidence that some Scots are being wrongly charged care home costs.

People with certain complex and severe medical conditions should have their care costs paid by the heath service under an arrangement called "continuing healthcare".

The BBC has learned of three people who are minimally conscious or in a vegetative state who have been turned down for NHS funding.
