Scottish independence: Sturgeon on how female voters are key

BBC broadcaster Jackie Bird has been travelling the country to find out what matters to female voters in the referendum on Scottish independence.

With women accounting for 52% of voters in Scotland, Deputy First Minister Nicola Sturgeon says the decision for her to front the Yes campaign was not just a cynical ploy to encourage women to vote.

She added: "If we can make independence appealing to women, and I think we're on the way to doing that, then I think we'll have cracked the referendum".

Watch 'What Women Want' on Tuesday 22 April on BBC Two Scotland at 21:00.
