Baby ashes scandal: Mother unsure where her baby's ashes are

For decades the ashes of babies and infants were secretly buried in the grounds of Mortonhall Crematorium in Edinburgh.

Parents were told that there were no remains of their children.

A report into the scandal by former Lord Advocate Dame Elish Angiolini has been published by Edinburgh City Council.

Dorothy Maitland, whose baby daughter Kaelen was cremated at Mortonhall 25 years ago, uncovered the scandal in 2012.

She has told the BBC: "I'm just not sure that my daughter's ashes are there".
