Donald Trump makes first visit to Turnberry as golf resort's owner

American tycoon Donald Trump has made his first visit to Turnberry since he became owner of the Ayrshire golf resort.

The billionaire businessman already owns a golf course at the Menie Estate in Aberdeenshire and has been looking at one in the west of Ireland.

He spoke of his love for Turnberry and said: "We're going to make it the finest in the world."
