Can pupils be persuaded to dump lunch-time chips?

A new scheme is trying to encourage shops near schools to display healthier items while also attempting to discourage pupils from leaving school at all.

The initiative, supported by the Scottish Grocers' Association and Cosla, is offering shops advice on how to increase the sale of healthier snacks.

Schools will also be urged to make change to ensure pupils want to remain on site during break times.

BBC Scotland's health correspondent Eleanor Bradford reports.
