BBC Scotland's Brian Taylor does the ice bucket challenge

BBC Scotland's political editor Brian Taylor has completed the ice bucket challenge after being nominated by First Minister Alex Salmond.

Mr Salmond and his deputy Nicola Sturgeon took the plunge earlier on Sunday.

It followed a dare from actor James McAvoy who challenged Mr Salmond and Better Together leader Alistair Darling to take part in the internet craze which aims to raise money and awareness for charity.

Brian said: "As a political journalist, I am pretty used to landing in hot water so this is going to be rather different."
