Perthshire man's two year search for wedded gold

When it comes to wooing your wife-to-be, few could match John Greenwood.

The true romantic, from Perthshire, has spent two years panning for Scottish gold until he collected enough to make a solid gold engagement ring and two weddings rings.

Luckily for him, the love of his life Morag agreed.

BBC Scotland's Cameron Buttle caught up with them when they returned from honeymoon.

Asked whether it was worth the hours of back-breaking toil, John said: "Almost certainly, yes. I'd do it all over again."
