Lightning strikes wind turbine during storm

Video shows the moment when lightning struck a wind turbine during the so-called weather bomb on Wednesday.

BBC Radio Orkney listener Michael Sneddon sent in footage of lightning striking a 220ft wind turbine.

Witnesses said the tower in Kirkwall, Orkney, was struck several times in quick succession.

The turbine stopped working momentarily and is back up and running again.
