Glasgow's Central Station deserted as trains cancelled
The largest train operator in Scotland cancelled all services across the country early on Friday morning.
No trains initially ran after high winds and rain moved across in the first of two storms predicted to reach the UK.
A few commuters made it to Glasgow Central station in the hope of reaching their destination.
By mid morning ScotRail began to gradually reintroduce some services.
Warnings for severe weather, external will remain in place for much of the weekend as temperatures drop, giving way to snow and ice.
