Ineos announces fracking community consultation

The petrochemical company which runs Grangemouth has announced a community consultation on fracking.

Ineos made the announcement after the Scottish government blocked the granting of planning applications using this type of extraction of shale gas until evidence had been gathered.

The first local consultation is scheduled to take place in Denny on Thursday, 16 April.
