'Serious' flooding strikes Alyth after heavy rain

Dozens of homes have been evacuated and hundreds of people left without power after heavy rain caused "serious flooding" in Alyth, Perthshire.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said it had been inundated with calls from across the area.

Sepa had 17 flood warnings in place across Dundee, Angus and Tayside.
