Fife boy is youngest person in world to wear bionic hand

A nine-year-old boy from Fife has become the youngest in the world to be fitted with a bionic hand.

Josh Cathcart, from Dalgety Bay, was born without part of his right arm.

A pleased Josh listed the benefits of his new hand, saying that he can play with his toys, get dressed and tie a knot more easily than before.

The bionic arm was designed by Touch Bionics, based in Livingston.
