Scotland's beauty spots mapped in virtual reality

The National Trust for Scotland has collaborated with Google Street View to digitally capture many of the Trust's properties.

Simon Goodall, from the National Trust for Scotland, external, walked more than 150 miles wearing a portable version of the technology.

His trek took him to almost 20 Trust properties including Staffa, Glencoe and Ben Lomond.

The 360-degree images will be made available on Google Maps, the Street View app and on the Trust's own website, external.
