Mosque: 'Trump's comments as extreme as ISIS'

The general secretary of the Glasgow Central Mosque has backed a petition calling for Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump to be barred from entering the UK.

Nabeel Shaikh's comments came after Mr Trump, who has a number of business interests in Scotland, called for a temporary halt on Muslims entering the United States.

The call to stop the US businessman from coming to Britain was made in a UK Parliament e-petition.
