Environmental cost of UK food outsourced say researchers

Where does the food you eat come from? Ever thought about its journey from farm to shop?

Researchers in Aberdeen and Vienna have said the UK is increasingly outsourcing the environmental impact of its food production to other countries.

They say demand for food and the greenhouse gases it produces will have a major effect on climate change for decades to come.
