Royal Navy Sea Kings' begin final flypast in Scotland

The Royal Navy's Sea King helicopters have begun their final flypast to mark the end of their search and rescue missions in Scotland.

Based on HMS Gannet, the aircraft left Prestwick on Thursday morning to fly over Glasgow, Garelochhead, Tyndrum, Lochaber, Oban, Inverlochlarig, Stirling, Edinburgh, Ayr, Prestwick and Troon.

The flypast brings an end to 44 years of rescue service in Scotland.
