Scottish Lib Dem conference: Tim Farron urges members to make a difference
The leader of the Liberal Democrats Tim Farron has told Scottish party members they must fight to keep the UK within the European Union and challenge the SNP's concentration of power in Holyrood.
He insisted that EU membership had brought "peace, unity and prosperity".
And ahead of the Scottish Parliament elections in May, Mr Farron said it was time to challenge SNP dominance in Holyrood.
In his address to the party conference in Edinburgh, he said: "You will stand for election in May in order to make a difference."
