Brain tumour survivor says it's a 'sink or swim mentality'

Scottish campaigners battling to secure more funding for research into brain tumours will have their case heard at Westminster.

The Petitions Committee has been debating whether brain cancer gets it's fair share of funding, after an e-petition gathered 120,000 signatures.

BBC Scotland's Neil Metcalf has been to meet a North-East husband and wife who shared the story of their own ordeal.

Mark Toshney, who was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2009, said attitude is everything: "It's a sink or swim mentality".
