Scots judo star Stephanie Inglis' sister says she is recovering

The sister of a Scottish Commonwealth Games medallist, who has been in a coma for weeks, say she has begun to recover.

Stephanie Inglis was given a 1% chance of survival after suffering head injuries in a motorbike accident in Vietnam on 10 May.

Her sister Stacey told the BBC that she has opened her eyes and even held her father's hand.

She says the family hope to bring the 27-year-old judo player home soon and are immensely grateful for all the support they have had.
