Lightning illuminates sky over Scotland

Lightning has been illuminating the sky over Scotland as heavy rain sweeps across the country.

Claps of thunder were also heard on Tuesday evening through to Wednesday.

The Met Office has issued a yellow 'be aware' warning for heavy rain which is expected to last until Wednesday at 18:00.
