Record attempt to cycle around the world in 80 days
Endurance cyclist Mark Beaumont made his way into the record books in 2008 when he cycled around the world in 195 days - but is now attempting to complete the target in less than half that time.
Beaumont, 34, will begin his trek on 2 July and will have to travel 240 miles (386km) a day to achieve the feat in 80 days.
The current world record of 123 days was set by New Zealand's Andrew Nicholson.
He told BBC Breakfast the challenge "scares" him but was possible.
