Neolithic dig unearths 19th Century whale pits

A dig at a Neolithic site on the the Orkney island of Sanday has discovered bones from a dozen whale skeletons.

Archaeologists believe the pits date from a 19th Century beaching of whales in order to slaughter them for their blubber.
