Transport minister calls on UK government to enter strike negotiations

Scotland's transport minister Jenny Gilruth has called on the UK government to intervene to end the latest UK-wide rail dispute.

She accused UK transport minister Grant Shapps - who has said it is not his role to get involved in negotiations between the RMT union and Network Rail - of making the situation "more challenging and more difficult".
