The Royal Regiment of Scotland parades through Dumfries

The Royal Regiment of Scotland was in Dumfries on Friday to parade through the streets of the town.

It was given the freedom of the region back in 2008.

Crowds gathered along routes through the town centre to watch the parade.

The regiment was joined by members of the Royal British Legion for part of the procession.
