Students plan peaceful protests at graduation ceremony

Students are planning peaceful protests at graduation ceremonies after being told their results will be delayed.

The University of Edinburgh told some students on Monday that a decision on their grade had been deferred due to a UK-wide marking boycott.

The move could mean up to 2,000 students will graduate without knowing their final grade.

In protest, students told the BBC they may refuse to shake hands with the principal or wear gowns.
