Justin Currie: 'I know I'm going to have to stop playing'

Del Amitri frontman Justin Currie has said that living with Parkinson's means he knows the point is coming that he will have to stop performing.

Currie, from Glasgow, was speaking to the Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg programme ahead of a BBC Radio 4 documentary about the impact of his diagnosis.

He described already having to focus on holding a plectrum and having to concentrate on hitting notes when he is singing.

Currie said: "I know it will get worse, at what rate nobody knows, so I know I'm going to have to stop."
