Blue badge holders say 'stop misusing disabled parking spaces'
Two blue badge holders have spoken out about why they believe there should be tougher regulations on disabled parking in Scotland.
Blind MSP Dennis Robertson and disabled woman Pamela Mitchell told BBC Radio Scotland's Good Morning Scotland programme that there was a worrying number of people who were abusing the blue badge scheme.
Mr Robertson said he knew of cases where the badges were being renewed after the holder had died.
He is so concerned about the situation he has introduced a members' bill to stop misuse.
The North East MSP's cause is being backed by Ms Mitchell who told the BBC it could be very hard to find disabled parking spaces.
