Smith asks Corbyn: Did you vote Remain?

Owen Smith has questioned whether Jeremy Corbyn voted to Remain in the EU referendum as the pair clash during an ill-tempered Labour leadership hustings debate in Glasgow.

Mr Corbyn reminded Mr Smith that the pair had campaigned together for a Remain vote ahead of the referendum, and said he had voted in favour of the UK remaining in the EU.

The event at the SECC was the latest in a series of debates being held by the two politicians during the Labour leadership contest.
