Blaenau Gwent litter scheme issues over 1,000 fines
More than 1,000 fines for dropping litter or failing to clear up dog mess have been issued in Blaenau Gwent in the six months since the council employed a private firm to patrol the streets of the county borough.
The pilot project has been extended with the company involved being given another six-month contract.
