'Emergency services work full out during snow, says firefighter

South Wales firefighter Dave Burton from Pontyclun talks about the situation in his area and how the emergency services work during extreme weather.

"We are pretty well practised in these things," he told Oliver Hides on BBC Radio Wales, explaining that 4x4 vehicles were placed in strategic locations ahead of the snowfall.

"Massive contingency plans are in place," he said, adding that the emergency services work full out during bad weather.
