Cardigan Castle: Work starts on £11m restoration

A £11m restoration project has started on 12th Century Cardigan Castle.

The 900-year-old site is considered to be the birthplace of the Eisteddfod, but has fallen into disrepair.

Campaigners have been working for more than 13 years to raise the support and the money to do something about it, and now it is being transformed into a centre for the community.

Sarah Moore reports.
