'Many challenges' to devolving police in Wales, David Hanson says

Labour's shadow policing minister has warned of the challenges ahead if control of the police was devolved to the Welsh government.

Delyn MP David Hanson said reducing crime was more important than deciding which government manages the police.

The Welsh government has called for powers over policing and, in the long term, the rest of the criminal justice system. The UK government said a commission would look at the evidence.

Huw Thomas spoke to North Wales Police and Crime Commissioner Winston Roddick on Good Morning Wales.
