Horsemeat scandal: Food fraud fight set to continue

A food safety expert says the horsemeat scandal, which has now seen councils in Wales drop mince from their menus highlights the ongoing battle against international food fraud.,

Prof Hugh Pennington, who led the Welsh inquiry into an ecoli bacteria outbreak in the south Wales valleys, said governments and food agency officials are working as fast as they can to pinpoint problems across the UK.

However, the retired scientist told BBC Radio Wales' Bethan Rhys Roberts that the horsemeat contamination posed no threat to human health.
