As the 10th anniversary of the beginning of the Iraq war approaches, arguments continue over the UK's involvement in one of the most controversial foreign policy decisions in modern history.

It divided political opinion, and particularly on the left.

One of the leading figures in the debate was Cynon Valley Labour MP Ann Clwyd, who spoke publicly about her fears for the fate of the Kurds under Saddam Hussein long before the war.
