JM Staniforth: Cartoonist's WWI drawings displayed online

World War I drawings by one of Wales' most influential newspaper cartoonists will be displayed online as part of a new project by Swansea University.

JM Staniforth was best known for his work in the Western Mail, although his cartoons also appeared in other publications, including the News of the World.

The project has now received a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund.

Prof Chris Williams, a Welsh historian from Swansea University leading the project, spoke to Oliver Hides on BBC Radio Wales.
