Pioneering keyhole bowel surgery training to go on
More than 2,000 people are diagnosed with bowel cancer each year in Wales.
But a pioneering Welsh scheme to train doctors in keyhole bowel surgery means more patients in Wales than ever before are getting specialist operations - and access rates to the surgery here are amongst the highest in the world.
The course that trains surgeons from across Wales and beyond is also up for a string of awards.
Health correspondent Owain Clarke has been given access to the training.
