Police relationship 'doomed from start' says South Wales Argus editor

A newspaper editor claims the relationship between former Gwent Police chief constable Carmel Napier and the area's police and crime commissioner, Ian Johnston, was probably "doomed from the start".

Kevin Ward edits the South Wales Argus, which broke the story of how Mr Johnston forced out Ms Napier.

He spoke to Radio Wales' Good Morning Wales presenter Bethan Rhys-Roberts. Then, the programme spoke to Edward Boyd, deputy policy director at the centre-right-wing think tank Centre for Social Justice.
