Calon Lan writer Daniel James' life on film

He's the man who wrote the words to what many call Wales' second national anthem, but little is known about Daniel James.

The poet from Treboeth in Swansea penned Calon Lan in the 19th Century and now local schoolchildren have helped to create an animated film of his life so others can learn more about him.

Cemlyn Davies spoke to the pupils, and Treboeth historian Geraint Williams and Teresa Hillier, a researcher from Swansea University.
