Aberystwyth University president dismisses bullying claims
Allegations that one of Wales' leading universities is being run like a dictatorship have been dismissed by its president.
The University and College Union (UCU) at Aberystwyth University claims managers are behaving like school ground bullies and staff are fearful for their jobs.
BBC Wales has spoken to other current and former members of staff who say they are unable to speak publicly for fear of reprisals but claim they have been intimidated and harassed by senior managers.
Sir Emyr Jones Parry, the president of Aberystwyth University, told Gareth Lewis on BBC Radio Wales that he did not recognise the picture portrayed by the UCU and the allegations had not been raised officially by the union.
