'Cautious optimism' for GDP figures, says David Russ
Welsh Conservatives have hailed the latest growth figures as "further proof" the economy is "on the mend".
The UK economy grew by 0.6% in the three months to June, according to figures from the Office for National Statistics (ONS).
The figures are up from 0.3% growth in the previous quarter.
But the Labour Shadow Welsh Secretary at Westminster said it was "a small step in the right direction" after "three wasted years".
Economics correspondent Sarah Dickins spoke to David Russ, managing director of the South Wales Chamber of Commerce, who said the news had been greeted with "cautious optimism".
