Newport shooting: Jogger's shock as woman dies and man injured

A woman has died and a man is seriously injured in hospital after a shooting incident in Newport, south Wales.

Armed police were called to Seabreeze Avenue near Corporation Road after reports of shots being fired at 08:45 BST.

A 46-year-old woman has died and a 49-year-old man has undergone surgery at the Royal Gwent Hospital in the city. A gun has been recovered.

Carl Little, who lives near where the shooting happened, spoke to BBC Radio Wales's Gareth Lewis.
