Newport shooting: Woman describes 'big shock'

A woman has died and a man is seriously injured after a shooting incident in Newport, south Wales.

Armed police were called to the city's Seabreeze Avenue near Corporation Road at 08:45 BST after reports of gunshots.

Both were taken to hospital with serious injuries but the woman aged 46 has died, and the man, 49, is undergoing surgery.

Local woman Angela Horton described to Jason Mohammad on Radio Wales what she heard.
