Dementia sufferers 'not getting out' says Alzheimer's Society

One in 10 people with dementia only get out of the house once every month, according to the Alzheimer's Society.

The society says it wants to develop more understanding and support within communities to help people with dementia feel more valued and included.

Carol Anne Jones, of the Alzheimer's Society in Wales, told Felicity Evans on BBC Radio Wales it was essential that sufferers continued to participate in hobbies and social activities.
